New Delhi: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Friday celebrated 11th anniversary of Metro Museum at Patel Chowk Metro station.
More than 30 girl children from an NGO – Sarthak Prayas were invited to visit Metro Museum and take part in the celebrations.
The children visited the Metro Museum and were informed of the history of Delhi Metro.
A street play was organised for the children. Professional artists performed in front of children. After that, the children performed cultural activities.
Further, an exhibition on a suicide prevention campaign, #Nevergiveup, was inaugurated by the chief guest of the event. This #Nevergiveup campaign is an initiative launched by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation to spread awareness on suicide prevention.
The chief guest also administered a pledge to the children to stay positive and help those in distress.
Following this, the new edition of ‘Metro Museum Digest’ was presented to the chief guest and other guests.
