Gurugram: Sec 37C residents carry our cleanliness-cum-plantation drive

Gurugram: In an attempt to ensure clean city and green neighbourhood, the residents of Sector 37 C in collaboration with Vrikshit Foundation and a social organisation “A Better Place a Better World” carried out cleanliness and plantation drive in the sector and adjoining areas on Sunday.

Local residents from the housing societies including ILD Greens, Imperia Esfera and others enthusiastically participated in the drive and cleaned up the internal road of the sector and pavement near Narayana School. Further, they planted saplings in the sector and pledged to take care of it.

Swapnil Gupta, Vandana Yadav, Saket Jha, Manbir Singh, Deepanshu, Sourav Rao among others were present on the occasion.

While talking to CitySpidey, Swapnil Gupta, resident of ILD Greens and member of Vrikshit Foundation said, “We want to see our city clean and green. Whenever we move to any clean place in India, we get amazed with it and compare it to abroad.” 

“Getting inspiration from it, we started the campaign in August last year and continued with efforts to bring change,” he added.
