Fire breaks out at ESI Hospital; no casualty reported

Noida: A fire broke out at the ESI Hospital in Sector 24, Noida on Thursday. However, no casualty was reported.

According to a fire department official, the fire broke out at 9.30 am in the basement of the seven-storey hospital building. Five fire engines rushed to the spot after the fire department was alerted about it. 

It has now been brought under control. 

Following the fire, patients and their relatives were evacuated safely from the hospital. 

The cause behind the fire is yet to be known. 

Few days ago, a burning battery factory building collapsed in Delhi’s Peeragarhi industrial area near Paschim Vihar in which a fire brigade personnel succumbed to injuries. Several people were injured in the fire.
