Candlelight march held for Pulwama martyrs

New Delhi: While the nation was observing the first death anniversary of martyrs of Pulwama on February 14, a candlelight March was organised in Geeta Colony to pay homage to them. 

More than 50 to 60 residents of area participated in the march from the main market to Lal Chowk under the banner of Hindu Tiger Sanatani Pariwar. 

It was on February 14 last year over 40 jawans of Central Reserve Police Force died in a gruesome terrorist attack in Pulwama, Kashmir. 


A resident of Ganesh Nagar said the sacrifice of our heroes will never be forgotten. “They laid down their lives for the sake of the country. They died, so we could live in peace,” he observed.
