Residents of several Dwarka societies of Sector 12 such as Abhiyan Apartments, Shivam Apartments, Park View Apartments, KM Apartments and Shubham apartments participated in a tree-planting drive at the neighbourhood park of Municipal Corporation near Rockland Hospital.

The programme was jointly organised by residents and RWAs of these societies. Area Councillor Shashi Tomar and president of Dwarka Forum Madhuri Varshney were present at the drive.

Residents took the opportunity to share their problems with the Councillor. They gave a memorandum to the Area Councillor Shashi Tomar to act on the issues.

"We put forth our issues about sanitation, development and maintenance of parks and conducting anti-mosquito drives," said Pankaj Dhingra, a member of managing committee of Abhiyan Apartment. "We also highlighted the issue of loud music from the the community hall of corporation beside Rockland Hospital."

“I have noted down all the issues. We will take them up on priority and the needful would be done," Tomar told City Spidey.
