Noida: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditiyanath announced closure of schools and colleges in the state till April 2 on Tuesday in Lucknow.
Earlier, the schools and colleges were ordered to be shut till March 22. The CM said that anyone who does not abide with this instruction will be penalised.
This is applicable to all the schools and colleges operating in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad.
He also announced that all the scheduled examinations should be postponed for later. The move came after two fresh positive cases of coronavirus have been reported from Noida on Tuesday.
