Greater Noida (west): Maintenance team of 6th Avenue of Gaur City 1 here installed a wash-basin at the main gate with a clear instruction to the guards to ensure no one is given entry without self-sanitising.

A sticker plastered near the basin asks everyone to wash his/her hands for at least 20 seconds before entering the premises.

Now, all residents, maids, delivery men, guards and visitors have to wash their hands before entering the society.

Facility Manager Ram Kumar said that the purpose of the wash-basin was to create awareness about hygiene amid scare of coronavirus.

Speaking to CitySpidey, Anita Prajapati, a resident of the society, said, "People now have started taking precaution as they are more aware of its significance."

Meanwhile, with two new positive cases of coronavirus being confirmed by the administration on Tuesday, residents of Gautam Budh Nagar are in a panic.
