Ghaziabad: In order to limit entry of people inside the office building of Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation (GMC), a kiosk desk has been placed outside the building where basic work of public is being done.
Officials of the GMC have set up the desk in the park of the corporation building where they would carry out work like issuance birth/death certificates, submission of complaints and memorandums. The officials said that other requests will also be submitted at the desk.
The GMC started this facility from Tuesday as a precautionary measure to limit the gathering of people in view of COVID-19 outbreak.
"The government has issued an advisory to limit gathering of people. This is just a measure to implement that advisory," said Jitendra Kumar, PRO of GMC.
