The RWA of Aravali Apartments, Sector 34, Noida, began a tree-planting drive today.
The residents of the society planted about 100 saplings of different varieties across the compound. The intent is to take the number to 500.
The children of the society, too, showed an eagerness to be part of the drive. Saplings of neem, Ashoka and others were planted.
Anil Gupta, the RWA president, told City Spidey that the event was aimed at creating a greener society.
