77 new coronavirus cases in Gurugram; recovery rate 91.83 pc

Gurugram: Gurugram recorded 77 fresh cases of Covid-19, while 65 more patients recovered from the infection, according to the district health department on Saturday.

Out of the total 10,185 caseload of Covid-19, 9,353 patients were treated and discharged so far in the district. The recovery rate now stood at 91.83 per cent slightly dipped from previous day of 91.88 per cent, the daily health bulletin said.

So far, the deadly disease has claimed 130 lives in the district with one more person succumbing to the infection in the last 24 hours.

At the moment, there are 702 active cases in the district, of which, 12 are hospitalised at dedicated Covid hospitals. 66 are under observation at dedicated Covid healthcare centres whereas 35 are under observation at district Covid care centre. 589 patients are in home isolation.

Meanwhile, Haryana state recorded 796 new cases and 10 deaths linked to coronavirus. The overall number of positive cases has now reached 46,410, while the deadly virus has claimed 528 lives so far in the state, the state health bulletin said.

As many as 591 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the tally of recovered patients to 38,939 in the state. The state recovery rate counted to 83.90 per cent, the data showed.

At the moment, the number of active cases stood at 6,943. The number of positive patients in critical care counted to 146, among these, 127 patients are on oxygen support, while 19 on ventilators.

The state’s Covid-19 positivity rate counted to 5.63 per cent while the fatality rate stood at 1.14 per cent. The state doubling rate of coronavirus cases is every 31 days.
