RESIDENT SPEAK: Police order strict compliance to noise pollution

Dwarka: A meeting was conducted at Dwarka North police station to emphasis on communal harmony in the society. It was held in the leadership of SHO Vijendra.

The issue of noise pollution was also discussed in the meeting. Participants of the meeting were asked to control noise pollution.

The police asked the participants to comply with the Supreme Court order on noise pollution. It will apply on all the religious places.

Now, people will have to adhere to the permissible standard of noise at all the places including temples, mosques, gurudwaras, commercial areas, industrial areas and residential areas.

People will have to seek prior written permission for special occasions.
