Dwarka: Vasundhara Apartments wants Covid care centre in community hall

New Delhi: India’s coronavirus crisis is deepening, with hospitals buckling under increasing pressure from the second wave of infections.

The residents of the Vasundhara Apartments in Dwarka have many coronavirus cases in their society and want help from the district administration to provide them to convert their community hall into a mini-hospital with oxygen cylinder and other emergency medicines.

Residents of Vasundhara Apartments, Sector 6 have sought help from the District Magistrate office for establishing a 6-8-bedded isolation centre. "Our society currently has 15 Covid patients and the numbers may rise. We desperately need some facility," said Rajiv Arora, Secretary, Vasundhara Apartments.

The residents have even registered their issue on April 20 to the DM, Southwest to set up a mini-hospital in Vasundhara society - community hall. Rajiv Arora said, "We are still waiting for their  response."
