Noida: Noida Estate Flat Owners Main Association (NEFOMA) in association with Yatharth Hospital, Greater Noida West has been helping people to get vaccinated in order to defeat corona. In this drive, people can get their first or second jab of Covaxin and till now, around 300 people have been vaccinated through walk-in procedure in Yatharth Hospital.
According to Rashmi Pandey, General Secretary, NEFOMA, they have been helping people for around eight days now and that people were facing difficulties in booking slots for Covaxin online, some people have exceeded their time period to take their second dose.
NEFOMA is constantly working towards ensuring that people who need Covaxin get it on time. Around 2,000 people from in and around Gautam Budh Nagar have shared their details through google form who need Covaxin.
According to Annu Khan, President, NEFOMA, it is their main focus right now to get more and more people vaccinated. The second wave of Corona hit people very badly and getting vaccinated is the only way to control the situation. NEFOMA has done such drives earlier as well to help people.
