Hundreds of homebuyers of Jaypee Greens Aman II, a residential project in Noida, Sector 151, on Saturday met Jaypee officials at the builder's Sector 128 office to discuss possession of flats. Buyers had booked flats in 2009 and delivery of all flats was due in 2013. Earlier, buyers had conducted a string of protests but without any results.

After the meeting, homebuyers took a tour of the project site with the builder's representative to assess the progress. At the meeting, officials had said that about 100 workers were present at the site, but when the buyers reached the site, the register showed only 80 names, including senior Jaypee officials.

Apart from this, Anup Tripathi, a homebuyer, told City Spidey that lifts had been installed in only a few out of the 26 towers. He complained, “Going by the number of workers at the site, how is it possible for them to give possession, which has already been delayed by three years?”  He added, “At the meeting, officials said they would hand over possession of five towers by December this year. Only after that will the builder be able to give a date for the handover of the rest of the flats.”

When City Spidey contacted RP Singh, head of electrical department, Jaypee Aman, he said that the builder would keep his promise but that completion might take a bit more time than expected.
