Residents of Ajnara Homes 121 in Sector 121, Noida, are worried about the society's stray dogs after a 6-year-old was attacked by them a few days back.

"There are several dogs in the society but about 18 of them are aggressive," said a resident. "The number of dogs has been incresing and the society's maintenance team has not addressed the issue."

Residents also blame the guards for allowing the strays to enter the society.

Ram Niwas, a member of the society's maintenance team, said that they had tried to oust the dogs from the society but had failed to find a long-term solution to the problem.

"We pay Rs 2.5 per sq ft as maintenance," said a group of residents. "What kind of service are we being offered in return?"
