Dwarka: Located at Sector-11, Dwarka Sports Complex in New Delhi was established in 2001. The Dwarka Sports Complex is a great place for anyone who enjoys a healthy lifestyle and wants to play sports like lawn tennis, badminton, cricket, swimming, and more.
There is also a jogging track, a children’s park, and smaller parks inside to help you relax your body and mind.

What gear do you need?
Depending upon which sport you opt for, you will need to bring the necessary gear. You can also buy the same from the shop inside the complex, the rates are pretty reasonable, too.
The sports facilities which are provided include:
- A swimming pool with a separate pool area for toddlers.
- Hard courts and clay courts for Tennis as well as a practice wall for the sport.
- Squash courts.
- Badminton courts, including a covered hall.
- Table Tennis tables.
- Billiards/Snooker/Pool tables.
- Basketball and Volleyball courts.
- A jogging track.
- A cricket ground and cricket pitches to practice.
- A skating area.
- Multigym.
- Dedicated areas for Yoga and Karate.
How do you get in?
The best option is to enlist for temporary membership, which is mandatory for swimming, gym, and badminton.
All you need to do is fill the form — available on the 25th of every month — and submit it by the 10th of the next month, along with the required fee in the form of a demand draft. That will give you a three-month membership along with a card, which you can use to pay for coaching expenses {if you need a coach}. You can also pay by cash.
You can also be a non-member and avail of similar services, only at a higher rate. Individual membership costs INR 1,718 per month, INR 1,958 for two per quarter, and so on.
How to apply
The application form for permanent membership can be downloaded from the official DDA website's Sports section. One individual should submit only one application. Fill up the downloaded application form and submit it along with the membership form's fee of Rs 118/- at the reception area of the Admin Block, Sector-11, New Delhi - 110075. The form should be deposited only during the working hours of 10 am to 3 pm (not during the lunch hours of 1.30 pm to 2 pm).
