When it comes to fixing damage, stimulating shine, or simply adding a dollop of moisture, everyone has their own choice of hair mask. But let's face it, most of them are too expensive to use on a regular basis as prescribed. Thankfully, you can make your own masks with components you probably already have on hand.

Hair masks created at home are excellent for calming and mending damage caused by colouring, hot tools, salt water, and even chlorine. They're also adaptable to your hair's texture, whether it's coarse, frizzy, dry, greasy, fine, or wavy. Hair masks are a fast, yet very effective way to treat your hair with a slew of health benefits in just 20 minutes. Consider hair masks to be high-powered conditioners for your hair. They help in  smoothening and moisturising, giving your hair a boost to grow, add shine, and even protect your  hair from infections.

We're going to share with you 3 fantastic hair masks that will nourish, protect, and moisturise your hair so you can look your best.

Mask 1: Bring the health back!
Coconut oil+ mayonnaise+ yogurt Mask

Excellent for: Damaged Colored Hair

Ingredients:
1. Two tbsp full-fat yoghurt (optional)
2. a quarter-cup of mayonnaise
3. coconut oil, 2 tbsp

Directions:
1. To get the most out of this restorative mask, wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo first to unclog the cuticles.
2.Apply the mask evenly to damp hair, raking it with your fingertips from the mid-length to the ends while avoiding the roots.
3.Allow the mask to work for 20-30 minutes before rinsing it off with shampoo.
4. After that, use your normal conditioner.

This is the perfect mask for restoring health and hydration to your coloured hair.

Mask 2: Get the shine!
Olive oil+ egg Mask
Excellent for: Dull, dry hair

Ingredients:
-1 egg yolk
-1 Tbsp. olive oil

Directions :
1. In a bowl, whisk together the egg yolks.
2.Pour in the extra virgin olive oil.
3.Gently combine the ingredients using a fork or a whisk. (Do not 4.heat this or the egg will be cooked!)
5.Divide your hair into five portions when it's dry.
6.Start at the scalp and work your way down the hair to the ends using the mixture.
7. Consider using a wide-toothed comb to ensure fair distribution.
8. Allow the mask to sit for 30 minutes before rinsing.
Egg yolks are high in fat, protein, and biotin, and while these proteins are too large to penetrate the hair follicle, they can coat it to give it a glossy appearance.

Mask 3: Keep the flakes away
Apple cider vinegar+ aspirin tea tree oil Mask
Excellent for: Early stages of dandruff

Ingredients:
-1/2 CUP Apple cider vinegar
-1/2 cup of water
-Tea tree oil, 10-12 drops
-A single aspirin tablet

Directions:
1. "Crush the aspirin with a spoon or the bottom of a cup on a piece of paper—or, if you have one, a kitchen mortar,"
2. In a spray bottle, thoroughly combine the ingredients and saturate your scalp.
3. Allow it to sit for about 30 minutes before shampooing it.
This mask is full of vitamins C, B, folic acid, and biotin. You can apply this mask after shampooing hair once a month for best results.
