CM Khattar unveils Haryana Swarna Jayanti logo

Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar released the exquisite multi-coloured logo of the Haryana Swarna Jayanti celebrations at an event in Gurgaon on Saturday.

The logo not only seeks to symbolise the aspirations of the people of Haryana but also their resolve to keep progressing. The logo comprises of a white shankh (conch shell) against a golden backdrop, with embossed images of Lord Krishna's Gita sermon, an arrow and the number ‘50’ encompassing the map of Haryana.

At the event, the chief minister announced that the state government would formulate a unique 50-point programme that would be a road map as well as a vision for Haryana’s future. He said that he takes pride in informing the people that the Prime Minister has accepted his invitation to be the chief guest at the inaugural function of Swarna Jayanti Samaroh at the Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Gurgaon.

He added that Haryana is completing 50 years of its existence on November 1, 2016, and the state government has decided to celebrate this year as the Swarna Jayanti Year in a befitting manner. He also urged the people and government officials to make maximum use of the logo.

The year-long celebrations would begin with a mega event in Gurgaon on November 1. The state government has elaborate plans to showcase the state’s rich cultural heritage, its past and the milestones covered by the people on their path to progress.
