Debasish Dutta, a member of Plastic Troopers says, “We were the group of three societies who formed this group. Now around 20 societies have joined our hands. We are trying to make a system where the amount of garbage produced per day is equal to the amount of garbage decomposed. We also demanded that we want the same amount of composite in return from Ghaziabad Nagar Nigam as the plastic provided by society.”

Dr. Mithilesh Singh, Ghaziabad Nagar Nigam in the meeting said, “ If we give the plastic, cloth, metal, and wet garbage separately then we will solve 90% of our problem. The garbage is generated when all these things get mixed. We need extra effort in segregation which takes time and makes the work difficult. I appreciate the work of Plastic troopers and Ghaziabad Nagar Nigam will surely give its support.”
