Pink Toilet is an example of envisioning the safety of women and girl children. SDMC inaugurated the first Pink Toilet on October 11, 2017 in Vikaspuri on the occasion of the International Day for the Girl Child. In spite of the challenges posed by the pace of urbanization and huge congestion in prominent public places, SDMC is effectively maintaining public toilets for brighter outcomes. These Pink Toilets are opened from morning 08 am to evening 8 pm every day and there is no user charge at all.
