Dwarka- Rath Yatra organized on Mahavir Jayanti

Dwarka: Mahavir Bhagwan Janm Kalyanak Mahotsav was celebrated with great enthusiasm and religious fervour today in Dwarka. People from the Jain community participated in the celebration. A Prabhat pheri in the form of a grand rath yatra was organized on the occasion. It started from the Jain Mandir in Sector 12 and culminated there taking a round of the city (in a particular route). The rath yatra witnessed a huge crowd of Jain devotees following the chariot on which a deity of Bhagwan Mahavir was seated. The celebrations concluded with Abhishek at the temple followed by Suruchi Bhojan.
