The first teaser of Alia Bhatt's 'Darling' is finally out. It will be Alia's first venture as a producer. Darlings have an outstanding cast of Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew alongside Alia Bhatt.
The whole teaser is set against a story narrated by Alia about a frog and a scorpion that illustrates how a predator would never compromise their true nature. In the teaser, we can see Alia meeting a cute guy played by Vijay Sharma. Shefali Shah is playing Bhatt's mother. Shefali Shah and Alia are a mother-daughter duo who are caught up between two strange men in their lives.
By the end of the teaser, we see Alia completely changing her avatar, hinting at a major twist in the film. Looking at the teaser, the movie promises a thriller with twists and turns and a lot of drama and amusements for the audience. The makers are calling it a dark comedy.

Darlings will be out on August 5, 2022 on Netflix. The music for the film is composed by filmmaker-composer Vishal Bhardwaj, and the lyrics are by veteran lyricist Gulzar.
