This poem has been penned by Yashnashree. She is a writer and poet, with a background in print journalism. She is moved by dogs, tea, books, web-series, road trips, and single malt in that particular order.

The city has started to seep
toxins into my veins
I don't dance now,
but drown in its rains
Droplets that once shone
are long lost and gone,
As I sit here and mourn
the memories of things forlorn,
Is it still the place I called home?
Come, I'll show you the bay
crushing under the weight of
its own romanticism, if I may
