Abhiyan Cooperative Group Housing Society in Sector 12, Dwarka, organised a police verification camp for domestic helps, car cleaners and sanitation staff working in the society. The camp was organised at the society's central park, from 11am to 1pm on December 11.
The camp was organised by the society's managing committee with the help of the local police. According to the president of the managing committee, GL Verma, a total 25 people filled in their verification forms, which were taken away by the beat constable for authentication. The society's management has decided to issue identity cards to the verified workers.
"There are about 25-30 such people working in the society," said Verma. "We had urged flat owners and tenants to make sure people working for them filled in their verification forms. The identity cards will be issued by January, post which, only those with ID cards will be allowed to come and work in the society."
