Dwarka: A massive drive against public drinking was carried out in various places of Dwarka by Police to maintain Law & Order in the District on November 5, 2022. The motive of the drive was to control crime and provide a better environment for the residents of Dwarka.
Dwarka Police has geared up to reduce public drinking. The teams were constituted under the supervision of concerned SHOs and the overall supervision of ACPs in Dwarka District. Moreover, a total of 111 persons have been arrested by the Dwarka Police under the 40 Excise Act.
As per DCP Dwarka M Harsha Vardhan, similar campaigns would continue to be held frequently in future.
