Delhi: The air quality in the national capital continues to be 'very poor' as the AQI stood at 326 this morning. A thick layer of smog continues to linger over Delhi. In the NCR as well, the AQI stands above 300. While in Noida, the AQI was recorded to be 356, in Gurugram, the AQI stood at 364, making the air quality in both cities 'very poor'.

It is to be noted that an AQI between 0 and 50 is considered 'good', 51 and 100 is 'satisfactory', 101 and 200 is 'moderate', 201 and 300 is 'poor', 301 and 400 is 'very poor', and 401 and 500 is 'severe'.

However, as the air quality in Delhi witnessed a slight improvement as it moved from 'severe' category to 'very poor' category, the Delhi Government has decided to reopen primary schools from November 9, 2022.
