On December 18th, 2022 residents from more than 20 societies gathered and raised their voices together against the builders against the pending registries of their flats. Residents from La Residentia, Gulshan Bellina, Victory One Central, Upcountry, EcoVillage1, Ecovillage2, Eco Village3, Apex Golf Avenue, Amaatra Homes, Casa Greens1, Ajnara Homes, JM Florence, Earthcon, GaurCity-1, etc participated and shouted slogans to make the government listen to their problems.
Residents gathered at Ek Murti Circle of Greater Noida West and staged a protest on the issue. Societies that joined hands together for a collective protest were protesting earlier at society level but showing no results now they came together for the cause and gave more strength to their demand.
Abhishek Kumar, President of NEFOWA says, “We have made 100% payments to get our property, but no registry has been done yet. Authorities must look into it and resolve the issue.”

He continues, “Our protest will be silent and peaceful and we will not stop till a concrete output. We want registry and get possession of our houses. We are fighting for our rights. We request the government to hear our outcries. The government cannot ignore the problem of home buyers like this. They should start the registry immediately and those who haven't got a house for 12 years should be given a house".
Mihir Gautam, a resident of Supertech Ecovillage2 says, "Many appeals were made to the government, so the meetings too with the authorities but the issue was not resolved.”
Residents of Ajnara home allege that they are paying interest to the banks and yet not having registries in their hands. During the protest residents also raised concerns related to civic amenities in their societies. Subodh Kumar Singh, a resident, of Ajnara Homes says, “ We are crying for the basic needs since the time we shifted here. Still, there are hundreds of flats whose registries are pending. We are afraid of our future.”
Residents of Supertech Ecovillage 3 allege that they have got possession, but neither the OC has been done nor the registry. Residents say that for 10 years they are crying to get the registry done.
Brij Bhushan, a resident of Supertech Ecovillage 3 says that there is lacking in fire fighting and security arrangements in his society.
Mahesh Yadav, a resident of Casa Greens says, “There are 9 towers and 800 flats in Casa Greens While purchasing the flats builder promised to grant us the registry within a month. Registries are pending, we filed RTI to know the status but there is no reply yet. We dream of spending a peaceful retired life but we are dealing with several issues. Still, 550 residents are waiting for the registry.”
