Noida Management Association (NMA), a non-profit autonomous professional body meant to foster management excellence, distributed blankets to the poor in Noida.

On December 24, NMA distributed 150 blankets, worth Rs 30,000, from its office premises in Sector 62.

SN Singh, NMA president, told City Spidey that this has been the organisation's way of celebrating Christmas.

CS Mishra, NMA secretary, added, "We do this every year. We also plan to do the same on New Year."

Rickshaw-puller Raj Kumar couldn't be more grateful for his blanket. He said, "We really needed one, and the currency ban ensured that we had no money. I have no words to express my gratitude!"
