Noida RTO had five more computers installed at its office to speed up the online test for the learner’s driving licence.
Prior to this, only four computers were available for the test. Those who came for the test had to wait for almost 40 minutes after paying the licence fees. That time has now been reduced to 10 minutes.
Noida ARTO officer Rachna Yaduvanshi told City Spidey that the decision to increase the number of computer was taken in November 2015.
However, after an increase in the licence fees from the first week of January this year, the number of people taking the test has decreased significantly. Prior to the hike, nearly 200 people came to take the test every day.
