Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, interacted with residents of Katyayani Apartments, Sector 6, Dwarka, on the night of March 3. He had gone to the residential society to meet Sushma Bansal, the AAP candidate set to contest MCD election from Dwarka B.

JB Singh, president of Katyayani Apartments, said that residents raised several issues, such as water, electricity and sanitation, in front of the CM. Residents also demanded to shift a wine shop from Post Office market of Sector 6. Kejriwal assured them that the shop would be shifted to some other location.

Pradeep Bansal, a social worker and resident of the society, said, “Arvind Kejriwal spoke about the achievements of the government. He assured us that the condition of civic amenities would be improved if AAP won the MCD elections expected to be held in April.”

Gulab Singh Yadav, area MLA, and other candidates from different wards in the area set to contest MCD election, such as Madhuri Varshney from Dwarka A, were present. AAP volunteers, residents and representatives of other societies also accompanied them.
