Residents of Manzil Apartments, Sector 9, Dwarka, now have a new recreation room in their society. Sakuntala Dhawan and Shefali Rudra, two of the society's residents, inaugurated the facility on March 5.
"We decided that two women would inaugurate the facility, as Women's Day is just round the corner," said JN Mandal, treasurer of the society.
The facility, available for all residents free of cost, boasts a yoga floor, exercise machines and several indoor games such as carrom, table tennis, badminton and chess. The society's managing committee also has plans to develop a library soon.
"We are happy that we could meet this resident demand," said Sushil Batra, president of the managing committee.
