The DND Flyway management has decided to wish women on March 8 in its own unique way. Female drivers can pass right through the toll gates without paying tax.
This will be applicable at both the Noida and the Mayur Vihar toll plazas for 24 hours starting March 8 midnight.
But the DND management has something more to offer the ladies.
Anwar Abbasi, senior vice-president, DND Flyway, told City Spidey that the staff at the toll gates will also gift female commuters with bouquets on the day.
The announcement came as a pleasant surprise to commuters from Noida and Greater Noida who regularly take the DND route.
"It's a courteous gesture," said Seema Singh, a resident of Sector Delta 1 of Greater Noida. "These little things go a long way in nurturing a healthy bond between civic agencies and residents."
