The RWA of Rihayashi Apartments in Pocket 7, Sector 12, Dwarka, have a strange problem at hand.

The society's internal roads were recently carpeted. After paving the road, it was observed that a cemented stretch running along the road had a level difference with it.

"The road's level is much higher that the cemented stretch running beside it," said Ved Prakash, president of the RWA. "This is an inconvenience for pedestrians, especially senior citizens. The difference in level might also cause the cemented area to trap water, as it is low-lying. We want both the levels to be same."

"The internal roads were carpeted in winter," said Sunil Kumar, treasurer of the society. "The contractor did a shoddy job. We have approached the municipal corporation with the problem and are awaiting action."
