Residents of Jalvayu Vihar in Noida sectors 21 and 25 are annoyed with Noida Authority. Despite several complaints, they have been forced to live with the stench from a damaged sewage line right next to the apartment and an overflowing drain in blocks N and H of Sector 25.

The RWA of Jalvayu Vihar Cooperative Housing Society complained that residents were facing this problem since September last year.

Ajay Goyal, the RWA general secretary, told City Spidey that the sewer lines near Nithari were damaged during the construction of an elevated road about eight months ago. Things are especially bad for the residents of blocks N and H of Sector 25, as the sewage flows right outside their flats.

Goyal has been running from pillar to post to seek a solution to the problem, but the repair of the sewer lines has kept getting delayed.

Project engineer SC Mishra said the Authority will look into the matter to ensure that it gets resolved soon. He also said that he would consult the RWA to identify the exact problems residents of the twin sectors are facing.
