Parents protesting against fees hikes in Noida have formed a new organisation called All Noida School Parents’ Association. It has parents from 25 schools, including DPS, Cambridge and Apeejay.

Members of the association will soon meet CBSE officials regarding the fee hikes. They will also try and reach out to the directorate of education and the chief minister.

Parents have repeatedly complained that schools in Noida — and across the NCR — have hiked fees without any prior notice.

“The school is forcefully selling its books and stationery. Stalls, too, have been set up inside the school,” complained AK Shukla, a parent of Apeejay School in Sector 16A, Noida.

K Arunchalam, general secretary of the association, told City Spidey that parents were targeting 50 mails and more than 500 tweets daily. The mails will go from different IDs. At the same time, #noidaschoolfeehike on Twitter will constantly be tweeted.
