A water pipeline has ruptured at Signature Tower on April 6 evening due to construction work on underpasses.
The burst happened on the slip road towards Jaipur. The stretch connecting HUDA City Centre and Signature Tower has been left waterlogged, leading to traffic snarls. A long queue of vehicles can be seen on the stretch. Water has also collected beneath the flyover.
Neelam Mehta, a commuter, said, "I use the route daily while going to HUDA City Centre Metro Station. It was hell today — I spent more than 25 minutes to cross that stretch.”
Work for underpasses has been going on in full throttle at Iffco Chowk, Signature Tower and Rajiv Chowk.
Earlier, too, a pipeline had burst at Iffco Chowk, leaving several nearby areas waterlogged.
