A group of drunk men beat up a shopkeeper in Godavari complex, Arun Vihar, Sector 37, last night.
The group had come in at 8 pm and ordered burgers and soft drinks. When the shopkeeper asked for the payment, the inebriated men beat him up.
When the shopkeeper tried to lodge a complaint with the police, he was harrassed by the officers. They did not file the complaint.
The police, however, did come to the scene later, when RWA president of Sector 37, OP Mehta, filed a complaint himself.
When City Spidey took up the matter with Dr Gaurav Grover, Circle Officer, he said, "We are investigating the matter and the miscreants will soon be arrested."
