Homebuyers of Paramount Emotion, a multistorey residential complex in Greater Noida (West) on Friday met with Mukesh Agarwal, managing director of Paramount Group, the builder, demanding him to commit to a certain date by which they will receive possession of their homes.

Chandan Chaudhary, a buyer and member of Noida Extenstion Flats Owner Association, said they raised the issue of builders handing over flats without obtaining completion certificates from Greater Noida Authority. He said that under the real estate regulatory act, they demanded the builder to pay compensation for delaying possession.

Chaudhary said Agarwal had agreed to their demands and promised to start giving possession from September this year. "The builder has also assured us that we will have all facilities mentioned in the project's marketing brochure in place when receiving possession of our flats," added Chaudhary. In addition to that, the builder has also assured them of a solid waste management system set up in the society.
