The new managing committee of Mahalaxmi Apartments in Sector 2, Dwarka, on Sunday held a meeting to discuss the development and welfare of the society.
"All the 11 members were allotted separate departments such as housekeeping, security, parks, cultural activities, electricity and water to look after," said Dr RL Gupta, president of the managing committee. "We also decided that the focus needed to be on a result-oriented and transparent system."
The new team was elected on May 28, for a tenure of three years.
Dr RL Gupta was elected as president; Ravi Sauson as vice-president; Harjit Singh as secretary; Lalit Kumar Sharma as joint secretary; and Anil Raghunath as treasurer of the managing committee. The other executive members in the team are Anil Tekadi, Aruna Mangla, Arvind Kumar, Chander Kanta, Raghuvir Singh and Veerwati.
"We will put in our best efforts to develop the society," said Dr Gupta. "I appeal to all residents to lend their support wherever they can."
