This monsoon, Noida Authority is going to have a round-the-clock waterlogging control room for residents to register their complaints.

An official of Noida Authority said that the contact numbers of area project engineers and other officials would be made public soon. “It will be a 24x7 service, and people can call the control room any time. A helpline will be provided to the residents,” the official added.

Soumya Srivastava, Noida Authority deputy CEO, told City Spidey, “Our officials will identify the locations that witness maximum waterlogging. I have directed both the water department and the health department of Noida Authority to take suitable steps to ensure residents don’t face any trouble during the monsoon this year.”

He added, “Authority officials are also trying to have better coordination between departments. All officials have been asked to keep seniors in the loop. The waterlogging control room will play an important role in keeping in touch with all required officials.”
