A boy and a girl committed suicide yesterday at a guest house (OYO Rooms) in pocket 16C, Sector 17.
According to the police, the couple, between 19-20 years, hanged themselves. The boy has been identified as Akshay Tiwari, son of VN Tiwari, a resident of Sector 16B Pocket 2, Dwarka; while the girl has been identified as Shubhanjali, daughter of Raghuvinder Singh, a resident of Sector 21, Rohini.
According to sources, the incident was reported at Dwarka north police station. SHO north, with his team, reached the spot, while a crime team inspected the scene.
The girl is said to be a student of Lady Harding Medical College.
