When the owners were away for the evening, thieves entered his house in Suncity on Golf Course Extension Road, Gurgaon, on Saturday, and searched the house for valuables and escaped with the booty – Gold and cash, worth Rs 6 lakh.
The house owner GC Dua and his family were away from 6.30 p.m. to 9.45 p.m. On return they found their own house door locked from inside. After breaking open the door with the help of neighbours, the Duas found their house ransacked and valuables missing.
Police inspectors who visited the house took fingerprints from the premises and began investigations. Dua told City Spidey that “Security in Suncity was in a shambles. Both RWA and Builder has done nothing to make the area secure for residents."
The police said investigation was under way.
