An open manhole in Sector 23A, Gurgaon, has become a threat for commuters, but the authorities are yet to take action, despite repeated complaints from the RWA.
The manhole in Carterpuri, near the government senior secondary school, is 10 feet deep!
“Anyone can fall into it, particularly if you are not familiar with the area. At night, the pit is hardly visible — we are waiting for disaster to strike!” complained Malkhan Singh Yadav, RWA president.
Residents and passers-by say the hole has been left open for the past 15 days.
City Spidey was unable to get in touch with MCG officials of the area for comment.
