Noida
Children found locked inside apartments: Two children were rescued from different apartments in Greater Noida on Thursday. The children, an 8-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl, were locked inside the apartments on the seventh floor of Amrapali Grand housing society in Sector Zeta 1 by their employers. Both of them were employed as domestic helps.
Underpass and U-turn for Sec 15A: Tender process for the construction of an underpass and U-turn in Sector 15A has been initiated on Thursday. Contractor for the project will be finalised on April 19 and construction may start in May. The project is undertaken to ease traffic congestion in the area.
Gurgaon
Open space cleared of generators: In a three-hour drive, Huda cleared Sector 29 Gurgaon of several encroachments. During the drive, all generators put up by shops and restaurants on green belts, footpaths and parking areas were removed. Earlier, the authority had given the squatters a week's ultimatum to remove the generators from open space.
