The wait is over for residents of Sector 47, Noida. A grocery and a Mother Dairy outlet have been set up in Block A of the sector.
The move has come as a relief for residents, as so long there were no shops in the sector that could cater to daily household needs.
Pravesh Sharma, deputy secretary of the Sector 47 RWA, told City Spidey, “The proposal for opening these shops was put forth some ten years ago, but it was never passed due to an internal RWA rift. This time around, the RWA finally reached a consensus.”
Arvindar Singh, the RWA president, inaugurated these outlets on Friday.
