With spiralling garbage mounds in landfill sites and increasing cost of transportation, people today are fretting about the issue of garbage disposal. Managing waste at source, segregation and composting have become the flavour of discussions. However, not too many people are conversant with the process of composting.
Deepti Mittal, a resident of Panchsheel Wellington, a society in Crossings Republik has been working on the subject of waste segregation and composting for quite sometime. Infact, she conducts workshops on composting to educate people.
