In an effort to do away with toll tax on the Delhi-Noida Direct (DND) Flyway, members of Maulik Bharat NGO organised street theatre at the Rajnigandha intersection, and later, at the DND toll plaza, forced the gate operator to let vehicles pass without paying toll on Saturday.
Their campaign resulted in an almost three-kilometre-long traffic jam on the flyway. The members marched from Rajnigandha intersection to the DND and stopped vehicles there, resulting in the jam, before letting them pass. The street theatre portrayed why the toll tax was not justified according to Maulik Bharat.
