Adding to the incidents of kidnappings and rapes taking place in Gurgaon, a 6-year-old girl was kidnapped from outside her house in Block K, Ashok Vihar.
As per sources, the incident took place around 6.30 pm today, when the girl was playing outside her house. The kidnappers came in a white car and pulled her in. After an hour, she was dropped at Pataudi Chowk, from where a stranger helped her call her mother on her mobile phone.
The victim hails from a middle-class family; her father works in a marketing company and her mother is a housewife. The incident has left the parents in shock.
While the police are investigating the matter, the family is thankful that the girl could escape unharmed.
