Age Well Association, an NGO from Dwarka, organised a free health check-up at the New Jai Bharat Apartments, Sector 4, in association with Manipal Hospital on Sunday.
Residents attended the camp and got medical check-ups done. Tests for blood sugar, blood pressure, ECG and bone mineral density, among others, were carried out. Doctors were at hand to give free consultation, and an orthopaedic surgeon was also present to help residents.
The facilities were also extended to servants, guards, maids, drivers, car cleaners and the underprivileged from nearby areas.
President of Age Well Association and also a resident of the Naval Jai Bharat Apartments, IM Khanna, said, “We keep organising such camps with the support of residents of the area and society managements. People from the area and those from the underprivileged sections of society get a chance to avail such facilities free of cost. There are more such activities to be organised in the area soon.”
