The health department of Gautam Budh Nagar has secured the third position in the latest ranking of the Uttar Pradesh Government. Ghaziabad on the other hand has secured the fifteenth position.
75 districts of the state feature in this (health department) ranking. Lalitpur district has topped the list while Lucknow has secured the second position. Sambhal district is at the bottom of the list.
According to Anurag Bhargava, chief medical officer of Gautam Budh Nagar, these rankings have been accorded after considering 40 parameters. “It is a big achievement for our department. The parameters include quality of treatment for women and children, range and sophistication of medical equipment and quality of ambulance service, among others,” Bhargava added.
The district magistrate, BN Singh congratulated the staff and workers of the district.
“All the efforts and hard work were done by the officers and the workers. So I congratulate them and hope that in the next ranking GB Nagar secures the first position,” Singh said.
